FIFA U17 WOMEN’S WORLD CUP: Khalifa oversees training after recovering from COVID-19
Early in October, the World Cup preparations of Uganda’s Under-17 women’s team were derailed. This after head coach Ayub Khalifa contracted COVID-19. Now after getting the all-clear, Khalifa has returned to carry out physical training sessions ahead of the first leg of the final qualifying round in 11 days’ time. Uganda will host Cameroon on October 31st, with the winner of the tie over two legs qualifying for next year’s World Cup tournament in Mumbai, India.
