Parliament’s education committee discusses private schools fund
Parliament’s Education Committee has started considering a motion asking the government to establish a COVID-19 recovery fund worth about 500 billion shillings managed by the Bank of Uganda for Private schools. The motion, tabled by Kyankwanzi District Woman Christine Bukenya Ssendawula suggests that the funds should be lent out to school owners at a lower interest rate before the reopening of schools next year.
