Parliament passes East African Crude Oil Pipeline Bill 2021
Parliament has passed the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline Bill 2021 described as a major leap forward to the final investment decision.
The bill was passed after consensus between government and the opposition on the clauses relating to land rights, transportation tariffs, oil prices and conservation of the environment among other things.
