Kenyan Chief Justice says the judiciary technologically reform improved access to justice
Kenyan Chief Justice Martha Koome has mooted the need for the rapid adoption of advancing technology by judicial institutions to correspond with societal desires for improved access to justice. Koome notes that the adoption of technological reforms is necessary for an effective and efficient judiciary to ensure good governance, which is the bedrock of the institution.
She was speaking at the closure of a two-day meeting of chief justices and judges from over 16 countries in Southern and Eastern Africa that was taking place in Kampala. The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, graced the event.
