Electoral commission calls for calm ahead of Kayunga by-election
The Electoral Commission has asked voters in Kayunga to remain calm as they choose a new district chairperson on Thursday. Violent scenes were witnessed during the final campaign on Tuesday with many people being injured in clashes with security forces. The candidates say they are prepared for the election.
