Dozens of women arrested, accused of defaulting on loan repayment
Dozens of women who are members of various enterprise groups in Hoima district have been arrested for failing to repay money that was disbursed to them through the Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Programme. The money was disbursed through the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development to strengthen the capacity of women for entrepreneurship development.
