COVID-19 vaccine uptake is better but still low
The Ministry of Health has confirmed that more females than males are contracting Covid-19. According to a statement by Health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng, the development came to light during an address on the status of the pandemic, ever since the partial lifting of lockdown on certain sectors like places of worship was lifted. The ministry is working to intensify vaccination against Covid-19 as a way of reducing the infection rate.
