Lawmakers discuss status, budget of seed schools
Parliament's Education Committee has heard that the Education Service Commission continues to recruit head teachers and deputies for seed schools under the Uganda Inter-Governmental Fiscal Transfer (UGIFT) Programme, despite a petition blocking the process. Committee members questioned why sitting head teachers and deputies were excluded from the recruitment process.
