Drugs And Degrees:University students speak up to fight addiction
Addiction is a challenge that affects many young people in Uganda's universities, but one programme is working to change that narrative. The Emerging Leaders Program, in partnership with various stakeholders, recently organized a fireside conversation on drug addiction at Makerere University, where individuals recovering from addiction shared their stories and insights. This follows a six-part series on "Drugs and Degrees" that ran in the Daily Monitor and NTV Uganda.
