WOMEN AND PUBLIC PROCUREMENT: Only 3% of contracts reach them
Women led enterprises are not getting enough of government business, with only 3% of the over 20 trillion shillings worth of government procurement registered to-date. Civil society organisations are also urging enterprises to formalise their businesses for ease of consideration and access to contracts.
