UNICEF INNOVATION FUND; 308mn up for grabs for start-ups
Ugandan startups and innovators keen on social entrepreneurship are set to benefit from grants of up to 308 Million shillings, start up capital set up by the United nations children fund. Winning teams will also receive apprenticeship which officials say is aimed at helping them, build bankable or market-ready, scalable and sustainable businesses.
The UNICEF Uganda Innovation Fund Challenge, and Outbox, seeks to support innovators using new and emerging technologies to address pressing issues faced by children and adolescents through social entrepreneurship.
