RURAL ELECTRICITY ACCESS: Project targets having 164,000 households connected
By the close of 2022, it is expected that the over 160,000 targeted beneficiaries of the Rural Electrification access project will have power connected to them. The project which was belatedly launched and partly handed over to Umeme for implementation from the now dissolved Rural Electrification Agency cost in the excess of 100 million dollars from the African Development Bank and the European Union.
