Kawempe court grants 22 NUP supporters bail
Twenty-two NUP supporters have been granted bail by the Grade One Magistrate of the Kawempe Court. This follows their bail application on the grounds that most of the supporters need to undergo medical review following beatings from security operatives during their arrest. They are facing charges of common nuisance, malicious damage, among others.
