Police investigate discovery of 17 human skulls in Mpigi shrine
The police have launched investigations to establish the circumstances under which seventeen human skulls ended up in a shrine in Mpigi District and whether the victims were murdered. The skulls were retrieved on Monday following a tip-off by two children who were searching for firewood but abruptly saw the metal cases buried in a hole in a shrine reportedly belonging to a man whom the police have been hunting for allegedly taking part in the murder of a former Buganda Ndiga Clan Chief, Daniel Bbosa.
