Parliament passes UPDF Bill
Parliament has today passed the UPDF Amendment Bill 2025, which, among other provisions, allows civilians to be tried in military courts under special circumstances. The special sitting—held under extraordinary conditions—saw the Bill passed despite an opposition boycott and the tabling of two minority reports.
