Mpuuga launches Democratic Front ahead of 2026 polls
The Coordinator of the Democratic Alliance, Mathias Mpuuga, is urging the Opposition to unite and present a common front in the run-up to the 2026 general elections.
He emphasised that only through collective action can the country realise meaningful political change.
Mpuuga made the remarks during the official launch of the Democratic Front, a new political coalition comprising the Social Democratic Party, People’s Democratic Party, and the Democratic Alliance. He will serve as the coordinator of the newly formed front.
