The National Social Security Fund is in the eye of the storm. It appears the 17 trillion-pension fund is facing conflicts of interest and a battle for its control. Its cooperate leadership is at war with its regulatory leadership. After a stinging missive from the minister in which she alleged corruption and mismanagement at the top, the guns have been trained on the fund to question whether indeed savers' money is safe. Sometime last year Board members went to meet the head of Operation Wealth Creation, Gen. Salim Saleh in Kapeeka but in what capacity did the board meet General Saleh?
