Eyes on NUP set to lead Opposition in parliament
The National Unity Platform (NUP) now has the most number of legislators among opposition parties, with over 80% of them from Buganda or the Central region.
But what does this mean for the National Resistance Movement (NRM), which has previously enjoyed large support in Buganda?
Where does it leave the other opposition parties, since many NUP members just recently crossed over from other parties, especially the Democratic Party?
