UDC touts concentrate, pulp production
The Uganda development corporations say the country’s potential as a producer of pulp and concentrate is growing significantly and attributes this development to the outstanding distribution of inputs to farmers. Patrick Birungi, the executive director of UDC also says that the government is still committed to helping farmers scale up production in the fruits sector. Farmers are, however, still struggling with market access and climate change-related challenges.
