SOARING PUMP PRICES: West nile businesses, motorists turn to smuggled fuel
Soaring fuel prices have now forced transporters, motorists and operators of small businesses in West nile into buying smuggled roadside fuel from neighbouring South Sudan and Congo. The NTV correspondent in the region Rashul Adidi, says prices at numerous stations have shot up to 4630 for gasoline, and 4350 diesel. Traders in Koboko district, are now calling on the government to reign in on the matter as transport fairs have shot up as a result.
