MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS: Surge in local deals excites investors
The trail of destruction left by the pandemic and the uncertainty around it, has fuelled a pick up in the local merger and acquisition market especially the agriculture and education sector with experts attributing the rise in the increasing liquidity needs by companies severely hit by the effect of Covid 19 pandemic. Silver Kayondo, a partner at Ortus advocates and venture capital expert also says large companies for instance in the regional airlines industry have attracted interest.
