LOCAL CONTENT FUND: Law in the offing to help companies
Tier one companies in the oil development contracting stage will have to ceed 1% of their contract value to the government as it builds a local content fund to support Ugandan Business participation in the oil sector. On its side, the government will sink in more than 100 billion shillings. All these aspirations await the law to be operationalised.
