Grain export challenges persist at farmer level
The back end of Uganda's maize grain export who are the farmers will need more intervention to improve Uganda's quality of exports. On a tour of Mubende and Mityana areas, the hub for maize production, off-takers through the Uganda Grain Council are raising concerns that more needs to be done especially in scaling up extensions services, climate change migration, inputs, post harvest handling among others.
