COMMERCIAL DIPLOMACY: UIA courts new ambassadors
The Uganda investment authority is urging new Uganda envoys to numerous countries seen as key markets for Uganda to maintain the momentum towards marketing Uganda’s investment potential, with the government now focusing on preparing and linking key sectors of the economy to prospective investors especially keen on industrialisation. Recently, newly appointed ambassadors have been on an orientation drive, in part visiting some new manufacturing plants in the Kampala area.
