Initiative to promote peace launched in Wakiso
Wakiso district local government has launched a five-year action plan aimed at promoting peace, security, and the environment. According to Zurah Asanda, the executive director of Paradigm Social Justice and Development Uganda, Wakiso District faces challenges including land conflicts, domestic violence, as well as environmental degradation that directly affects peace and development.
