Hundreds of police officers deployed in Sembabule to secure elections
Lwemiyanga county in Sembabule District has been cited as one of the areas prone to election violence. Last month, one person died after supporters of the incumbent MP Theodore Ssekikubo clashed with is rival Brig. Gen Emmanuel Rwashande. To avert possible violence, police have deployed in the area.
