ICT to ensure better selection of project contractors
The Minister of economic monitoring in the office of the president, Peter Ogwang has met stakeholders in the ministries of education and health among others, on the possibility of introducing Building Information Modeling technology in government. If approved by the cabinet, the software will address challenges like the lack of accuracy in projecting project execution requirements, a procurement system flawed by corrupt tendencies and will improve monitoring of government projects.
