KCCA evicts street vendors
In a bid to decongest the city, vendors have on many occasions been banned from operating along city streets and sent to designated areas like Usafi market but this rarely lasts as the vendors always make it back to the streets before long. On Monday, these street vendors spent the day in running battles with the KCCA enforcement officers who were trying to implement the latest attempt at decongesting the city streets as part of the strategy to curb the spread of covid-19.
