THE DEBT DEBATE: Government exercises more awareness
The question of whether Uganda's debt is sustainable remains a stalemate between the government and its critics. But at least some in government admit that paying 33% of collected revenue towards debt servicing is an aspect of concern. This is what partially explains the reduction in central government recurrent expenditure among other measures.
