ORGANIC COFFEE CERTIFICATION: Bugisu cooperative seeks higher returns
Arabica Coffee growers in Bugisu sub-region will reap big should their biggest cooperative Bugisu Cooperative Union acquire a certificate for exporting organic Coffee. Traditionally Arabica fetches more money than Robusta let alone being organic. Meanwhile, the Cooperative has set aside five billion shillings for coffee purchases from farmers this season.
