SMALL BUSINESS: New digital solutions for refugee business
Uganda hosts one of the biggest refugee populations in the world which is over 1.4 million. However, this population is heavily dependent on handouts and informal businesses for survival. Now the Belgium Development Agency has started supporting business startups to create digital business solutions that will be implemented in West Nile. The business solutions are aimed at tackling issues ranging from Climate change to smart agriculture.
