Is the shuttered night economy affecting recovery?
Night life has been inactive for 18 months, courtesy of covid-19, in this, a lot of people have been affected socially and economically, but also, the pause in night life has imposed a great threat to the economy of the country. Mostly, the time before a shift, night economy was dominated by the entertainment industry, bars, concerts among others, with which has been crippled, but also small and medium enterprises’ operators like night street vendors were closed out of business, we want to understand more of how the inactivity of night life has affected the economy of the country that has a budget of close to 45 trillion shillings for the financial year 2020/2021.
