A fortnight after Uganda signed agreements with Tanzania and two oil firms, paving the way for the start of petroleum production, there is growing interest by Ugandans in obtaining employment in the Oil and Gas sector. Most of these jobs are likely to come through the vocational field. We turned to UBTEB Executive Secretary ONESIMUS OYESIGYE on how colleges are preparing to deal with an influx of learners interested in working in this sector, among other issues.
