Works Minister assures delayed contractor payments will be settled
Works Minister Katumba Wamala says contractors whose payments had not been cleared before the Uganda Roads Authority merged with the Ministry of Works and Transport will receive their payments in due course. This followed complaints by members of the Uganda National Association of Builders, Suppliers, and Engineering Contractors, who told him during a meeting that their businesses are struggling due to delayed payments.
