IGG talks tough on civil servants declaring wealth
The Inspectorate of Government says they have handled over 1000 cases, in their bid to fight corruption in the country and 280 government officials have faced sanctions on the recommendations of the institution over their involvement in corruption. They said this while interacting with media, on how best the Inspectorate can cover the online declaration of assets by leaders and civil servants through the leadership Code Act. The IGG is set to start receiving declarations of the leaders assets in the month of March.
