Government agencies back single secretariat to coordinate anti-corruption effort
Government anti-corruption agencies have welcomed the idea of setting up a single secretariat to coordinate anti-corruption efforts across all anti-graft bodies. According to Joel Wanjala, the Under Secretary in the Office of the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity, the secretariat will help various agencies document and follow up on cases under investigation as well as those that have been concluded.
