FOWODE launches digital hub to support women candidates ahead of 2026 elections
As Uganda prepares for the 2026 general elections, the Forum for Women in Democracy has launched an online resource centre to equip women candidates with relevant information and skills to navigate the political environment and run successful people-centred campaigns. The Lead-HERship Digital Resource Hub, accessible through the FOWODE website, provides tips on confronting challenges women face during campaigns, relevant information about the entire election process, and more. The Lead-HERship Digital Resource Hub was launched by FOWODE's Executive Director, Patricia Munabi Babiha, who was joined by several women aspiring for various political positions in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
