UWA accused of failing to control elephants
Residents of Koch Lii Sub County in Nwoya district on Monday spent the better part of their day in a protest against persistent attacks by stray elephants from Murchison Falls National Park.They accuse the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the government of failing to address their concerns and leaving them to suffer attacks by elephants that stray into their gardens and homes, wrecking havoc.
