Poor facilitation of election registrars blamed for poll malpractice
The poor facilitation of election registrars by the NRM’s electoral body is the main reason for election malpractice, Salim Uhuru, the NRM's chairperson for Kampala Central Division, has said. Uhuru, who is also the mayor for the same division, argues that candidates taking part in the ongoing NRM primaries have taken advantage of this gap to bribe poll officials who in turn interfere with the will of voters.
