Lubaga polls marred by violent confrontations, disruptions
What started as a lively display of democratic participation in Lubaga Division during today's NRM primaries for LC5 and mayoral seats, quickly escalated into scenes of tension and chaos at several polling stations. Unlike last week's peaceful and low voter turnout in parliamentary primaries, today's exercise attracted a larger crowd but was marred by violent confrontations, identity disputes, and disruptions at key voting centers in Lubaga Division.
