UDB moves to explore other financing options as aid shrinks
With traditional aid and concessional funding shrinking, Uganda, like many African countries, is facing a growing financing gap that affects investment in public infrastructure, social services, and private sector innovation. In response, Uganda Development Bank is taking the lead by hosting the upcoming Uganda Development Finance Summit, gathering global finance experts to explore new and innovative financing options, according to the Managing Director of Uganda Development Bank, Dr. Patricia Adongo Ojangole.
