NOVEMBER RIOTS ANNIVERSARY: Relatives of luweero victims still waiting for justice
The 18th and 19th of November 2021 mark a year since violent protests erupted in Kampala and a number of towns after presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi was arrested in Luuka district. In Luwero district, the LC One chairman for Kasaala village, Richard Mutyaba was imploring rioters to calm down when a bullet felled him. He was one of four people who lost their lives in this way. Some of the families of those who lost their lives in the chaos told NTV’s HERBERT KAMOGA that they want justice for their loved ones.
