Masindi traders decry URA taxes, call for relief
Traders in Masindi District have decried what they termed as unfair taxes and practices by the Uganda Revenue Authority, saying they are likely to discourage innovation and investment in the region. During an engagement with URA officials, the traders said every small business is being taxed, yet such early stages of investment are supposed to receive tax waivers to support growth.
