Gov’t launches polio immunization campaign in Wakiso
The Health Ministry has launched a UGX 28b polio vaccination campaign targeting 8.7 million children under the age of five countrywide. State Minister for Health Anifa Kawooya kicked off the launch at Wakiso Health Centre 4, and said vaccination would be done from house to house with due consideration of all Covid-19 preventive measures.
