FROM THE ARCHIVES: Remembering the July 2010 Kampala twin bombings
It was on the night of Sunday 11th July 2010 that untold mayhem was visited on football fans and others having a nice time at two entertainment spots in Kampala.
It was a long night for medical workers who had to attend to the injured, a long night for the mortuary attendants, a long night for security officers and a long night for relatives who received the sad news of loved ones gone forever as the sick writhed in pain.
Frank Walusimbi now recalls the events of that fateful night of terror, sadness and gloom as well as the build up.
