Absence of health workers prompts call for stricter supervision at health facilities
Despite the recent pay increase for healthcare workers, the persistent issue of absenteeism among healthcare personnel continues to plague the health sector. According to the Director General of Health Services in the Health Ministry, Dr. Henry Gatyanga Mwebesa, there is a critical need for enhanced supervision, particularly at the local government level to resolve this dilemma.
