Uganda to introduce e-sim cards
Uganda will soon follow the lead of regional partners such as Kenya in the use of e-sim cards or in effect making calls without a physical sim card. SIMs are gaining popularity globally due to their many benefits, including real-time phone number switching without having to visit a physical store or wait for delivery. This feature is especially useful for those who travel often or need separate phone numbers for personal and business use. This was announced by the visiting Airtel African boss.
