MANUFACTURING SECTOR: SMES say power policy is discriminatory
The newly passed direct power purchase policy for manufacturers by the government, while being applauded by manufacturers is also criticised for being discriminatory. According to the chairman of the Uganda Manufacturers Association Deo Kayemba, the policy does not address the structural bottlenecks SMEs are dealing with. Ismail Ladu reports.
