From fun to olympic prospect: Skateboarding's rise in Kampala
In 2005, which is 19 years ago, Jackson Mubiru first tried out skateboarding for fun after watching Shaw Swat, a South African national, skating around the Lugogo shopping mall. Now, what started as fun has since developed into an Olympic Games prospect for hundreds of young people, especially in the Mutungo Parish of Nakawa Division in Kampala District.
