UWA gets new board of directors
The Minister of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities Col Tom Butime has tasked the new board of Trustees of the Uganda Wildlife Authority to prioritize dealing with threats to wildlife conservation like poaching, habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict. He was presiding over the inauguration of the 10th board of directors which is chaired by Prof James Kalema and will serve for three years.
